With roots in Tokyo, Japan, Ojiya opened its first California restaurant in Chino Hills in 2003, bringing authentic Japanese cuisine to the local community. From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: serve homemade food prepared with care, use quality ingredients, and create a welcoming place where people can enjoy a great meal together.

Over the years, Ojiya expanded to communities across California and Hawaii. Today, we proudly continue our story at our two locations in Chino Hills and Torrance. Chino Hills offers comforting Japanese dishes along with authentic sushi, while Torrance features classic Japanese small plates and creative flavors in a lively izakaya setting.

Through every chapter, our purpose remains the same: to bring people together over good food and send them home with a smile.
